<reviewbody>John Butler kicks my ass and his bandmates can land a good punch of mellifluous might themselves. Seriously, I was moved AND grooved by this show. I'd never seen a JB trio show before this one, but I could sense the earnest heart-felt intent and deep-rooted appreciation this guy has in his approach to music. Seriously amazing guitarist and good song-writer with an eight-armed orangatang of a drummer (that's a compliment, to clarify) and a talented jazz-funk style bassist, really great stuff from down under, where the scales moved backwards.</reviewbody>

    <reviewbody>Hello All,
I am trying to figure out who sings the "filler" music before the first set... Of course I love JBT, but they obviously chose well for the opening tunes as well.
I'm talking about the bass-heavy, brassy version of "Feeling Good"... can anyone help me oput??
betsailors@hotmail.com if you know... thanks!</reviewbody>
